Position: Minibus Driver (AM/PM) & Teaching Assistant (Daytime Support)

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, caring, and motivated individual to join our team as a Minibus Driver with additional responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant during the school day. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, is a confident driver, and would like to support students' learning and wellbeing in a school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Minibus Driver (AM & PM Duties)
Safely transport students to and from school following established routes and schedules.
Ensure the wellbeing, safety, and appropriate behaviour of students during journeys.
Carry out basic safety checks on the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate records of journeys and adhere to school safeguarding policies.
Teaching Assistant (Within the School Day)
Support teaching staff in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to students as needed.
Assist in creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Help with classroom organisation, resources, and general supervision.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a clean, valid UK driving licence (D1 category desirable).
Has experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential).
Is patient, dependable, and committed to student safety and wellbeing.
Can follow instructions, use initiative, and work well as part of a team.
Is willing to undertake training, including safeguarding and first aid.
