QHSE Compliance Officer
Prodrive Recruitment Consultants Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Quality and Compliance Officer to join a specialist engineering business near Evesham, Worcestershire. This is a key role ensuring compliance across quality, environmental, health and safety, and regulatory standards, including ISO 9001 and wider certification requirements. Working closely with the Head of Operations, the successful candidate will play a central role in maintaining and improving compliance systems across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain compliance to the company's quality management system to ensure retention of ISO certifications, including internal auditing and action of outcomes as required.
* Develop and implement environmental and health and safety requirements into the management system with the view of attaining certification.
* Provide supporting documentation to comply with UVDB Achilles accreditation.
* Monitor and action compliance to health and safety at work legislation through an annual plan of work including CoSHH, fire and accident recording and investigation.
* Monitor and action compliance to environmental regulations including WEEE and RoHS reporting and compliance to policy.
Skills & Experience:
* Degree Level Education
* 5 years+ experience in Compliance, Quality or H&S roles
* Specialised knowledge in Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Management systems
* ISO 9001 internal auditor trained
* Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to work under pressure and a good problem-solver
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Highly organised and able to use initiative
* A flexible team player
Desirable:
* ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 experience
* Experience as a management system representative
* Background in regulated engineering or manufacturing environments.
Salary: Up to £35k pa DOE+ company benefits
Hours of work: Full time OR Part-Time pro-rata will be considered.
Permanent Contract.
Office Based. On-site Parking.
