An established contractor specialising in commercial fit out projects is looking to appoint an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Stockport.
The business delivers projects across the UK for leading clients within the office, retail, hospitality and leisure sectors, offering strong exposure to fast-paced fit out environments.
This role will involve supporting and managing commercial aspects of projects, working closely with the wider commercial and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Managing valuations, variations and cost reporting on projects
Supporting subcontractor procurement and account management
Monitoring project costs and assisting with commercial reporting
Working with site teams to manage variations and budgets
Supporting the commercial process through to final accounts
Requirements
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within fit out or interiors
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost control
Good communication skills and ability to work with project teams and subcontractors
Ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
