Welder Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to produce high-quality products in accordance with technical specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in fabrication and welding to contribute to a dynamic and growing organisation.

Responsibilities

Assemble and fabricate metal components based on blueprints and specifications
Operate welding equipment to join metal parts together
Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and smooth metal surfaces
Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Experience

Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Familiarity with various welding equipment and tools
Attention to detail and ability to work with precisionSchedule

08:00-16:30pm Monday-Thursday (Workshop)
08:00-14:00pm Friday (Workshop)
Monday to Friday
Weekend & overtime availability
There will also be a need for you to work on our client sites when required
