POSITION : Architectural Technician
LOCATION : Commutable from Hull , Beverley , Grimsby, Lincoln , Doncaster, Selby , York, Leeds , Sheffield
Hybrid role - Generally in the office 2/3 days per week
HOURLY RATE : Contract rate available on a PAYE or Ltd Co basis - £23.50ph - £27ph
THE ROLE : This is a contract position for 6 - 12 months for an experienced Architectural Technician to join this multi-disciplinary practice.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
* Previous experience working as an Architectural Technician , preferably working on housing / sheltered housing/ apartments/social housing
* HNC / HND in an appropriate Architectural / Construction / Building discipline.
* Good architectural experience with clear evidence of achievements. Experience and ability to work across all RIBA Plan of Work stages
* Design skills and technical understanding including standards, codes of practice, regulations and industry best practice
* In depth knowledge of current CDM Regulations, Building Regulations and Planning practices
* Contract procedures
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to demonstrate design skills and analytical judgement and creativity to deal with complex and varied situations
* Able to design using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD with clear demonstrable evidence.
* Full driving licence
