Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise maintenance, repairs, and inspections across the fleet
* Allocate planned/unplanned work and manage daily staffing
* Carry out vehicle preparation and body repairs (cars, PCV, PSV)
* Maintain workshop equipment and facilities
* Support stock control and warranty processes
* Keep accurate engineering and performance records
* Lead, develop, and motivate the engineering team
* Manage breakdowns, vehicle allocation, and service performance
* Promote strong Health & Safety culture
Requirements:
* Level 3 HGV City & Guilds / NVQ (or equivalent)
* PCV or PSV licence
* Strong engineering background
* Leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of H&S, employment, and environmental legislation
* Good IT and organisational skills
* Additional engineering/safety/environmental qualifications
Salary description
£22.00 - £25.00 per hour
