Mig Welder - immediate start

We are looking for a MIG Welder and Fabricator to join our dynamic team in Aylesford, where we specialize in the fabrication and assembly of high-quality steel components. We pride ourselves on our commitment to excellence and our supportive work environment.

Shift:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Overtime available
Pay rate: £16 PH

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture sub-assemblies using MIG welding to support the main assembly bays.
Produce main assemblies by MIG welding up to the paint stage.
Sand and grind components or assemblies to remove splatter and ensure optimal fit.
Assemble all components using power and hand tools.
Ensure sound weld joints and a good cosmetic finish.
Monitor all welding processes to prevent shrinkage and distortion.
Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience.
Ability to lift components and stand for long periods while manual MIG welding.
Proficient in interpreting 3rd angle projection drawings..
