* 4 day working week! Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 5.15pm. Part time positions also available.

* Up to £14 per hour plus paid overtime, roles are offered on an initial 12-week temporary to permanent contract basis.
Are you interested in working at the cutting edge of automotive manufacturing? Do you have a passion for cars and want to be trained to be able to assemble gearboxes and engines for several leading vehicle manufacturers?
This Assembly Technician job will involve:
* Disassembly of automotive gearboxes and engines following instructions using tooling and training.
* Inspection of a wide range of engine and transmission components.
* Evaluation of parts against set criteria and drawings.
* Measurement of features against drawings using various measuring tools.
* Assembly of engines and transmissions on a production line.
* Testing of engines and transmissions.
This Assembly Technician job will suit:
* Previous experience in a similar position is not essential as training will be given, but any experience of working within an engineering, manufacturing or automotive / vehicle workshop environment would be beneficial.
* Above all we are looking for candidates who are reliable & enthusiastic about working within a growing business working on projects with some of the leading manufacturers in the automotive industry.
* You will be working in a busy production environment, and some tasks can be physical and fast paced.
* Overtime is available on occasions to boost earnings.
