Pertemps Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming mainstream primary school in Uxbridge who are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team for the Summer Term, working two days per week.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident HLTA who is comfortable leading lessons and supporting learning across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The Role
Provide classroom cover across KS1 and KS2 when required
Deliver pre-planned lessons and maintain a positive learning environment
Support pupils’ learning and development across a range of subjects
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure pupils remain engaged in learning
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school teamThe Ideal Candidate
HLTA status or equivalent experience
Experience leading or covering classes in a primary school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confident supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2
Reliable, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staffWhat’s on Offer
