    Job Title: CNC Machinist
    Location: Newcastle
    Salary: Up to £19.24 per hour +30% shift allowance for nights
    Shifts: Shift pattern: 2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights

    Job Description – CNC Machinist (Mazak Integrex)

    As a CNC Machinist, you will play a key role within our precision engineering team operating and programming Mazak Integrex multi-tasking machines. Reporting to the Cell Manager, you will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operation of Mazak Integrex mill-turn machines, producing high-precision components in a range of materials including exotic alloys, stainless steel, brass, duplex, and aluminium.

    The successful candidate will have experience in Mazatrol / Mazak Integrex programming, multi-axis machining, and producing complex components in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Program, set and operate Mazak Integrex multi-tasking CNC machines.

    * Create and edit Mazatrol programs for complex mill-turn components.

    * Interpret engineering drawings and translate them into efficient machining programs.

    * Produce precision components for single, small-batch, and production runs.

    * Machine a range of materials including exotic alloys, stainless steels, duplex, brass and aluminium.

    * Use precision inspection equipment to ensure components meet dimensional and quality standards.

    * Optimise machining processes, tooling strategies and cycle times.

    * Work collaboratively with production, engineering and maintenance teams to resolve machining challenges.

    * Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety policies.

    * Support and mentor apprentices and trainee machinists where required.

    Skills & Experience Required

    * Time-served CNC Machinist / CNC Programmer.

    * Proven experience programming and operating Mazak Integrex multi-tasking machines.

    * Strong knowledge of Mazatrol programming (Smooth / Matrix / Fusion control advantageous).

    * Experience with multi-axis mill-turn machining.

    * Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings (metric and imperial).

    * Strong understanding of tooling, work holding and machining strategies for complex components.

    * Experience machining high-value or difficult materials such as stainless steels, duplex and exotic alloys.

    * Competent using precision measuring equipment and inspection processes.

    * Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

    * Security clearance (BPSS) may be required
