Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Wanstead, East London

Salary: £35,000

Shift: 8 hour shifts - roatating earlies and lates (Any 5 over 7)

Job Role of the Maintenance Technician 

A strong opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Technician  to join a respected, industry-leading manufacturing business with a reputation for excellence. Engineers here benefit from working for a company recognised for quality and operational standards.
You will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.

Sector – Factory Maintenance

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Technician 

· Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.

· Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Essential requirements for the Maintenance Technician 

· Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.

· Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).

· Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements for the Maintenance Technician 

· Previous experience working as a Maintenance Technician in the UK.

· Experience with working on PLC’s, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
