Position: Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Poole, Dorset
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 - Depending on experience

Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of special purpose machinery based in the Poole area. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Overview

* Producing production and assembly drawings with the use of Solidworks of jigs, frames and full bespoke machines.
* Collaborating with the design team on new projects and designs
* Producing 2D technical drawings
* Producing Bill of Materials
* Updating and maintaining the product data management software

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

* 3+ years of experience within a Design Engineering role
* HNC or above in a Mechanical / Design related field
* Experience within a special purpose machinery or automation related field
* Strong communications skills
* Proficient in the use of Solidworks or similar
* Full UK Driving License

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

* Salary £38,000 - £45,000 - depending on experience
* Working hours: Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:15, Friday 08:30 - 13:00.
* 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
