About the Role
Destination Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive primary school in Walthamstow.
This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant who can provide classroom support, small group interventions, and one-to-one assistance where required. You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities
Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Provide small group and one-to-one support for pupils who need additional help.
Assist with planning and delivering targeted interventions.
Help monitor and record pupil progress.
Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs where required.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.Requirements
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
Strong understanding of supporting pupils with different learning needs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).What Our Agency Offers
