The Role:
This is a pivotal position on a fast-paced development. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials across the site, supporting all stages of the build. Your duties will include:
Material Distribution: Loading and unloading deliveries and ensuring trades (bricklayers, joiners, and roofers) are constantly supplied.
Site Logistics: Managing the storage area and ensuring the compound remains organized and safe.
Machine Maintenance: Conducting daily safety checks and keeping the machine in excellent working condition.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with the Site Manager to prioritize lifts and maintain site momentum.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
A Valid CPCS or NPORS telehandler ticket.
A proven track record of working on high-volume housing sites.
Precision in your lifting and a thorough understanding of site safety protocols.
A consistent, professional attitude with a commitment to the duration of the project.
A full UK driving licence.
