PE Global is recruiting Line Operators for our manufacturing client in Skelmersdale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, safety-focused production team on an initial 12-month contract, assembling components in a well-lit and clean manufacturing environment. Training will be provided, but candidates with a background in manufacturing are preferred.
Pay Rates:
Day Shift: £12.96 per hour
Shift Rate: £15.81 per hour
Night Shift: £16.85 per hour
FLT Days: £14.89 per hour
Overtime Rates:
OT1.5: £19.44
OT2: £25.93
Working Hours (38 hours per week – Shift Days):
Monday – Thursday: 7:50am – 4:45pm
Friday: 7:50am – 12:10pm
Candidates must also have flexibility to work other shifts as required.
Responsibilities:
Assembly and packing of components for production
Maintaining quality and accuracy in all tasks
Following production schedules and instructions
Working in a safe and organised manner within the production area
Reporting any issues or concerns to supervisors
Requirements:
Ability to work shifts and adapt to changing workloads
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, but training will be provided
Good work ethic, organisation and flexibility
Work Environment:
Well-lit, clean, and safe production area
No travel to other sites required
Forklift licence not required
This site is outside the town centre, so own transport is highly desirable
Candidates must have full right to live and work in the UK
