Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor – Major Hotel Project
We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team on a major hospitality development.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the delivery of a £35M hotel scheme comprising nearly 300 rooms, located within a major UK Development.
You will play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery through to completion.
The Role
Working as part of an established commercial team, you will be responsible for the commercial management across the project. Duties will include:

Managing subcontract procurement and package buyout
*
Cost reporting and forecasting
*
Subcontractor management and valuations
*
Variations, change control and final accounts
*
Working closely with project and site teams to ensure commercial success
The Project
The scheme is a large-scale hotel development with approximately 300 rooms and forms part of a wider regeneration programme.
Requirements
*
Experience working as a QS or SQS on major construction projects
*
Background in main contracting environments
*
Experience on hotel, residential or large commercial developments preferred
*
Strong subcontract management and cost reporting skills
