Management Accountant

A growing and well-established professional services organisation is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of management reporting and play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making within the business.

You will work closely with senior leadership, providing clear financial insights and ensuring accurate reporting across the organisation.

Management Accountant – Responsibilities:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules

* Producing variance analysis and financial commentary for senior management

* Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

* Monitoring financial performance and identifying trends or risks

* Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial planning

* Improving financial processes, controls and reporting systems

* Supporting year-end processes and liaising with external accountants/auditors where required

Management Accountant – Person Spec:

* Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or strong QBE background

* Previous experience in a management accounting or similar finance role

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills

* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders

* Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Management Accountant – Package:

* Salary £40,000 – £45,000
