    The Role

As Design Manager, you will be responsible for delivering robust engineering solutions that support project delivery teams while ensuring design compliance, programme alignment and technical excellence.

You will lead external consultants and internal engineering teams to develop design solutions across a range of infrastructure works including pipelines, pumping stations, networks and treatment systems.

    Key Responsibilities

Support project delivery teams with engineering and technical solutions

Manage engineering budgets and design schedules

Implement and manage change control processes for design development

Ensure all engineering outputs meet quality, safety and compliance standards

Support supply chain engagement for specialist design inputs

Liaise with project managers, engineering managers and consultants to resolve technical issues

Coordinate with operational, maintenance and technical stakeholders

Ensure all designs consider buildability, operability and maintainability

    About You

    Essential Experience

Proven experience in Design Management within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
