Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient Classroom Support Assistant to work in a forward-thinking secondary school in St Helens, Merseyside.
This is a long-term supply role, starting immediately, supporting pupils within the school's SEN hub on a 1:1 basis.

The Role - Classroom Support Assistant (SEN)
You will be:
Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) on a one-to-one basis
Working within the school's dedicated SEN provision / hub
Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
Assisting with learning activities across the secondary curriculum
Liaising with teachers, SENCOs and pastoral staff
Helping students access education in a positive and structured wayRequirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Support Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant
Strong classroom management skills
A confident, calm and proactive approach
A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
A positive "can-do" attitude and resilience
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Pay & Benefits
