How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Quality Engineer
A well-established engineering and manufacturing business supported by a global organisation is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to join its Quality team in Bradford
The business supplies engineered products to customers around the world and continues to invest heavily in improving quality systems, supplier performance and manufacturing processes. This Quality Engineer role will play an important part in strengthening quality across the operation — investigating issues, improving systems and working closely with suppliers and internal teams to drive long-term improvements.
This is a varied position where the Quality Engineer will be involved in both hands-on problem solving and wider quality system development.
    Why This Role Stands Out
    * Part of a global manufacturing group, offering long-term career opportunities
    * Strong focus on professional development, including funded training and qualifications
    * Exposure to multiple manufacturing operations across two sites
    * Flexible working hours with early finishes on Fridays
    * Opportunity to influence quality improvements across the wider business
    About the Business
The business designs and manufactures engineered products supplied to an international customer base.
Quality, continuous improvement and employee development are key priorities, with engineers encouraged to build new skills and progress their careers within the wider organisation.
    The Role
The Quality Engineer will support the company’s quality systems while working closely with production, engineering and suppliers to investigate issues and implement improvements.
The role combines technical problem solving with quality system development, giving the Quality Engineer broad exposure across the manufacturing operation.
    Key Responsibilities
    * Investigate manufacturing and assembly non-conformances using structured tools such as 8D
    * Manage and resolve customer complaints
    * Facilitate non-conformance review meetings and support corrective actions
    * Support supplier approvals, supplier audits and supplier development activities
    * Investigate product quality issues and component failures
    * Prepare and review inspection reports and quality documentation
    * Support the development and maintenance of the Integrated Management System
    * Conduct internal audits and support ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance
    * Promote strong quality standards across production and engineering teams
    Requirements
    * Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
    * HND, Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
    * Knowledge of quality tools and lean manufacturing principles
    * Understanding of ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 beneficial)
    * Ability to interpret engineering drawings
    * Experience in investigating non-conformances and root cause analysis
    * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
