Are you an experienced Plumber or Heating Engineer looking to step off the tools and make a real difference?
This is an exciting opportunity to move into education as a Trainee or Fully Qualified Lecturer in Plumbing, with full training and support provided every step of the way. You'll use your hands-on industry experience to inspire and guide the next generation of plumbers, helping them achieve essential qualifications and succeed in their careers.

In this role, you'll plan and deliver practical and theory lessons to full-time students and apprentices across levels, using your industry knowledge to deliver high-quality learning. You'll also mentor apprentices, assess progress, and help them develop the skills and confidence to become fully qualified plumbers.
The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent) and have solid industry experience within the plumbing trade. No previous teaching experience is required, full support and training will be provided to help you gain your teaching qualification.

The Role
* Deliver classroom and workshop-based lessons in Plumbing and Domestic Plumbing Systems

* Contribute to curriculum planning, pastoral support, and learner reviews
The Person
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)
* Strong industry experience as a practicing Plumber or Heating Engineer
* Motivated to move into teaching and inspire the next generation
* Based within a commutable distance of Swadlincote
