Job Description:
The Working Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on-site, supervising a team of workers, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of civil engineering and the ability to lead and motivate a team while ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on-site.
Ensure the completion of tasks according to project plans, timelines, and quality standards.
Manage day-to-day site operations and resolve any issues that arise.
Oversee the quality of work, ensuring all tasks meet industry standards and regulations.
Liaise with project managers and other departments to ensure effective communication and progress tracking.
Ensure all work is done in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site, ensuring they are used correctly and safely.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues or delays to senior management.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards on-site.
CSCS Card needed
