How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Description:

    Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimising manufacturing processes with our current portfolio, ensuring the highest quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for aerospace components.

    · Collaborate with customers and cross functional teams to ensure value add engineering is applied to all our product

    · Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve production issues.

    · Utilise lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

    · Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flow diagrams, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

    · Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement.

    · Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including AS9100 and ISO 9001.

    · Provide technical support to production staff.

    · Participate in cross-functional teams to drive innovation and process improvements.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

    · Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in the aerospace industry.

    · Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.

    · Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    · Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues at all levels.

    · Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, including AS9100 and ISO 9001 would be beneficial
