A rare opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join due to a retirement a well established International Manufacturer based near Ystrad Mynach as the Maintenance Engineer
This is a Monday to Friday days role no shifts and early finish on Fridays
You will be a very experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with ideally a Machine Shop background you will have a flexible team working hands on approach in this very varied and autonomous role. Any Electrical experience that you have would be great
The company is progressive with a strong order book with £Turnover having increased significantly over recent years
All aspects Mechanical maintenance with strong hydraulics and pneumatics experience
Routine maintenance inspections and Planned maintenance
You will lead Process improvements and have excellent problem solving skills
Good machine shop background (Turning, grinding, milling)
Jig building and Tool sharpening (Press tools and turret punch)
Some electrical knowledge and PLC knowledge would be an advantage
You will ideally be Apprentice trained with extensive experience of working in an Engineering role in a manufacturing organisation
The Maintenance Engineer will be able to travel to work from Pontypridd, Caerphilly, Blackwood, Cardiff, Merthyr, Pontypool, Llantrisant
