Automation & Controls Manager

A leading UK FMCG manufacturer and recognised premium brand within its sector is seeking an experienced Automation & Controls Manager to join their site engineering leadership team in North Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of site automation strategy while leading a team and delivering large-scale automation and continuous improvement projects within a modern manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading automation and controls strategy across the manufacturing site

* Managing and developing the controls/automation team

* Delivering large-scale automation and capital projects

* Supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives

* Maintaining and developing PLC, HMI and SCADA systems

Key experience required:

* Strong background in industrial automation within manufacturing/FMCG

* Experience with Siemens TIA Portal, PLC programming, HMI and SCADA systems

* Solid electrical engineering knowledge

* Proven team leadership experience

* Track record of delivering automation or controls projects in a production environment
