Job Description:
Recruitment Alba are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers (LGV1 / Cat C+E) for our client operating across multiple depots in Central Scotland (Alloa / Glasgow).
We have a range of opportunities available, including dayshift and nightshift, with both full-time and ad hoc shifts to suit your availability.
This role involves trunking, running and dropping, ensuring safe and compliant delivery of goods in line with ADR regulations.
Key Duties:
* Trunking, running and dropping loads between depots
* Ensuring all driving is carried out safely and in line with regulations
* Completing delivery paperwork and digital records
* Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Adhering to driver hours, tachograph and ADR compliance
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 / LGV1 (Cat C+E) licence
* Valid ADR Licence
* Valid Driver CPC qualification
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Previous Class 1 / ADR driving experience preferred
* Strong understanding of transport and safety regulations
Pay & Benefits (PAYE):
* Days: £17.45 per hour
* Day Overtime: £19.78 per hour
* Nights (all hours): £20.24 per hour
* Weekends: £21.49 per hour
* Bank Holidays: £21.49 per hour
* Holiday pay accrued on every shift
* Flexible working to suit full-time or ad hoc availability
