Laboris Solutions are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer / Operator to join our clients growing team operating CNC lathes with Fanuc OT control.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work rather than repetitive production runs. You’ll be producing small batch precision components (typically 50–100 parts) across a wide range of different jobs, giving you the opportunity to use your programming knowledge and problem-solving skills daily.
Most programmes are already written, so the role involves editing, adjusting and optimising existing programmes, as well as setting and running machines efficiently.
You’ll mainly be machining stainless steel, along with brass and aluminium.
Alongside machining responsibilities, you will also help manage material stock levels, ensuring materials are ordered and available using a just-in-time approach to keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Programme, set and operate CNC lathes with Fanuc OT control
* Edit and optimise existing programmes for efficiency
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Produce high-quality small batch precision components
* Monitor and manage material stock levels
* Maintain an organised and efficient workspace
What We’re Looking For
* Experience programming and operating CNC lathes
* Knowledge of Fanuc OT control
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
Working Hours
* 37 hours per week
* Monday to Friday
* Early finish on Fridays (12:30–13:00)
* Optional overtime available when required

£17 – £20 per hour depending on experience
