We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components using TIG.
*Duties*
- Operate and maintain welding equipment such as TIG welders
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Weld and fabricate metal components to specified dimensions
- Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, and finishing workpieces
- Assemble parts according to engineering drawings
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards
- Working with both stainless and aluminium
*Experience*
- Proven experience in TIG welding and fabrication
- Proficiency in stick welding techniques is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge for working with various materials
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and layouts
- Familiarity with sheet metal work is desirable
Salary description
£15.00 - £16.00 per hour
