Test / Integration Lead - Baggage Handling Systems - 12mth FTC, Australia
Location: Queensland Australia (work is on site) (Open to those willing to relocate)

Duration: 12 months, extensions possible
We are looking for an experienced Test & Integration Lead to support the delivery and commissioning of automated baggage handling systems within a major airport or logistics environment. This role has a 100% on site requirement.
In this role, you will lead the testing, validation, and system integration of PLC-based control systems, ensuring seamless communication between automation equipment, software platforms, and airport operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead system testing and integration activities for automated baggage handling systems
* Develop and execute test plans, FAT, SAT, and commissioning procedures
* Coordinate integration between PLC controls, SCADA/HMI systems, and airport IT systems
* Work closely with controls engineers, software teams, and airport stakeholders
* Troubleshoot system issues and manage defect resolution during testing phases
* Support system commissioning and operational trials
Requirements
* Experience testing and integrating large-scale automated or material handling systems
* Experience with airport baggage handling systems
* Have a background in engineering
* Strong understanding of PLC-based control systems (Rockwell experience beneficial)
* Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms and industrial networks
* Experience with FAT, SAT, and commissioning
* Ability to work within complex multi-vendor integration environments
* A desire to relocate to Australia on a short notice
