Top Tier Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Contract Class 1 Tramper/Day driver/Night Driver to join our client's team based in Essex, County. This role involves door-to-door deliveries and requires the candidate to operate HGV Class 1 vehicles efficiently and safely throughout the scheduled routes. The position is a Temp to Perm contract. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries, adhering to traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining professional communication with clients and colleagues. The role offers a rate of £19.05 per hour.
Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with relevant experience in day driving or tramper shifts
Good understanding of UK traffic laws and safety regulations
Strong organisational skills and reliability
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Walking floor trailer experience preferred but not essential – full training can be provided for the right candidate.
