Our client is seeking a talented Senior Estimator to lead the pre-construction estimating process on projects ranging from £100k to £30m across a diverse portfolio of mixed-use developments. This is an opportunity to take ownership of tender strategy, influence project profitability, and contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic construction team.
The Role
As Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for leading the estimating function across multiple projects, producing accurate cost plans and competitive tenders while ensuring commercial viability.
Key responsibilities include:

Leading the preparation of tenders under JCT Design & Build and NEC contracts
*
Producing detailed cost plans and estimates using Causeway estimating software
*
Identifying value engineering opportunities to optimise project costs
*
Supporting and mentoring junior estimators
*
Contributing to tender submissions and presentations
*
Managing post-tender negotiations to help secure profitable projects
About You
The successful candidate will bring strong commercial awareness and a proven track record in UK construction estimating.
Requirements:

10–15 years’ estimating experience within the UK construction industry
*
Strong experience using Causeway estimating software
*
Excellent analytical and cost-planning skills
*
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or similar
*
RICS or CIOB membership (desirable)
