We are recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker to work for our client who are located in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.

You will be responsible for building, fitting and maintaining tooling, ensuring tools function correctly and meet exacting quality standards.

THE DUTIES OF A TOOLMAKER:

* Assemble, fit, and prove tooling components to specification

* Working on Injection Moulding & Die Casting Tools

* Carry out tool repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance

* Perform hand fitting, spotting, bench work, and precision alignment

* Diagnose tooling faults and implement effective corrective actions

* Collaborate closely with CNC and EDM departments

* Inspect and measure critical features to ensure accuracy and compliance

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

* Time-served Toolmaker or strong background in precision engineering

* Experience with mould tools, die tools, or high-precision tooling

* Excellent fitting, bench, and problem-solving skills

* Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Quality-focused with a keen eye for detail

THE HOURS:

Permanent, Full Time.

We have 3 shift patterns available:

1 – Permanent Days – Monday – Thursday 7.30am-5pm / Friday 7.30am-12.30pm

2- Permanent Nights – Monday – Thursday 6am-6pm

3- Continental weekend shifts – Friday – Sunday 6am-6pm

THE PAY:

1- Permanent Days – £15-17 per hour

2- Permanent Nights – £19 -£22.66 per hour ( includes shift allowance )

3- Continental weekend shifts – £19 -£22.66 per hour ( includes shift allowance )
