Smile Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work on a supporting SEN pupils within a Primary Schools SEN Hub located in Walsall.
This is a long-term opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them thrive in a classroom setting.
The Role:
Providing tailored 1:1 support to three pupils with Special Educational Needs
Supporting learning, engagement, and emotional development
Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual support strategies
Promoting a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Assisting with classroom activities and behaviour management where requiredThe Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Has experience working with SEN children, ideally in a primary setting
Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable
Has strong communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhat Smile Education Offers:
