    Lecturer in Health & Social Care (Variable Hours)

    Location: Cross College/Salisbury

    Salary: Unqualified Lecturer: £21.13 per hour plus holiday pay/ Qualified Lecturer: £25.34 per hour plus holiday pay

    Unqualified Lecturer: £21.13 per hour plus holiday pay
    Qualified Lecturer: £25.34 per hour plus holiday pay

    Contract Type: Variable Hours
    Hours offered as required during term time and adult provision delivery, with flexibility to meet curriculum needs.

    What You’ll Do

    • Deliver high-quality teaching across Health & Social Care programmes within adult learning provision
    • Support adult learners developing skills and knowledge for careers in health, care, and community services
    • Deliver engaging sessions that blend professional experience with practical, real-world application
    • Prepare learners for employment within the care sector or progression to further study
    • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, assessment, equality, and professional practice
    • Support learners to build confidence, employability skills, and professional behaviours required within the sector

    What You’ll Bring

    • A relevant qualification in Health & Social Care (Level 3 or above)
    • Recent and substantial industry experience within health, social care, or related support services
    • Up-to-date knowledge of sector practices, legislation, and care standards
    • Teaching, assessing, or IQA qualifications are welcomed but not essential
    • A passion for developing adult learners and supporting career progression within the care sector
