Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Site Agent on behalf of one of our clients, to join their Highways team.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Input into your direct report’s annual goals and check in on the development of these regularly.
Manage, supervise, train and mentor the site team to enable them to perform their duties effectively.
Communicate effectively with other engineers, supervisors, enabling functions, designers and client representatives.
Coordinate supply chain partners to contribute to design solutions at the appropriate time to deliver a right first time design solution that can be constructed with “no in-flight change”.
Ensure construction issues are raised promptly through the delivery team, with an appropriate level of escalation to determine a suitable resolution.
Skills and Qualifications:
Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to diverse audiences.
Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
Knowledge and understanding of temporary works processes, design and management.
Knowledge and understanding of construction contracts (through experience and formal training). Ideally ECC NEC4
