The position will be based between the Head Office in Farringdon, as well as on-site across London attending project handovers and defect inspections
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support the aftercare team, including coordinators and engineers, ensuring high standards and efficient workflows
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, resolving queries and defects promptly
* Oversee defect reporting systems (Clixifix) and ensure timely completion of remedial works
* Organise site visits, engineer schedules, and client meetings, ensuring SLAs are consistently met
* Work closely with Project Managers, Contractors, and Managing Agents to resolve issues efficiently
* Train and mentor team members on systems and processes, and support client onboarding
* Provide weekly and monthly updates to senior management, and implement process improvements where needed
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in aftercare, defect management, or a similar client-facing construction role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team and coordinate multiple projects
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Confident, proactive, and able to work independently while driving results
* Familiarity with Clixifix or similar defect management software is highly desirable
* Construction knowledge, including the ability to read plans and understand common defects
