    Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
    Location: Wakefield
    Salary: £460 – £600 per week
    Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day
    Start Date: Immediately

    About the Role:
    As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students’ educational and social development, working closely with teachers to ensure their individual needs are met.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist students with learning tasks and personal development.
    • Implement strategies to support individual learning plans.
    • Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment.
    • Provide one-to-one or small group support where necessary.
    • Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff.

    Qualifications:
    • Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
    • Commitment to supporting student progress and well-being.
