* TBC likely up to £20.69ph + Overtime. Any hours worked over 42.5 will be paid at £31.04ph (1.5x) & Sundays are paid at £41.38ph (2x). Pay is weekly – every Thursday!

* Working hours: Week 1 - 07:00-16:00 Monday to Friday (42.5-hour week) Week 2 - 09:00-18:00 Monday to Friday, then Saturday 07:00 – 11:00 – paid at £31.04ph (46.5-hour week overall).

Are you an HGV Mechanic, HGV Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Engineer looking to join a leading recycling and waste management company? You will carry out both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to keep the fleet safe, compliant, and operating at the highest standard

This HGV Mechanic role will suit:

* Engineering professional with hands-on experience maintaining HGVs, buses, trucks or other heavy commercial vehicles.

* A Mechanic, Engineer or Technician with a background in fault diagnosis, mechanical repairs, welding/fabrication, and general vehicle maintenance

* Individuals with good attitude & strong attention to detail.

* Those with a Level 3 qualification in HGV, LGV, or Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & repair (or equivalent)

* Those with a class 1 driving license (would be ideal)

This HGV Mechanic role will involve:

* Carrying out scheduled servicing, inspections, pre-MOT checks, and reactive repairs

* Fault diagnosis and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles

* Welding, fabrication, and bin repairs as required

* Completing accurate maintenance records and attending internal/external training

* Working as part of a team to ensure fleet reliability and support operational requirements

This HGV Mechanic job is commutable from Leicester, Narborough, Blaby, Hinckley, Nuneaton, and surrounding areas.
