Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (HGV C) Multi-drop Driver for a busy distribution operation based in South Birmingham.
This role involves curbside deliveries and collections of palletised goods, completing around 10 - 15 drops per day using curtain-side vehicles fitted with tail lifts. The role is physically active and requires drivers to use electric pump trucks to move pallets at delivery points.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out multidrop curbside deliveries and collections (approximately 15 drops per day)
Deliver palletised goods using curtainside vehicles with tail lifts
Use electric pump trucks to load and unload pallets
Complete daily vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
Ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
Maintain high standards of customer service at delivery locations
Comply with driver hours and road transport regulationsWorking Hours
05:00 – 07:00 starts
10–12-hour shifts
Monday to Friday with potential overtime depending on workloadRequirements
Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
Minimum 2 years’ experience driving Class 2 vehicles
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous multidrop delivery experience preferred
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulationsPay & Benefits
