Job Overview
A growing multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Bristol is seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their team due to continued business growth.
The role offers the opportunity to work across a range of commercial projects, with a strong focus on the education sector, alongside other refurbishment and maintenance schemes. Working closely with experienced surveyors and directors, the successful candidate will gain exposure to a wide variety of project and professional services.
This position will primarily be office-based, with site visits across the surrounding regions as required, providing an excellent opportunity to develop practical surveying experience while working within a supportive and experienced team.
The company is committed to supporting career progression and offers full APC support, making this an ideal role for a graduate looking to work towards MRICS chartership.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the delivery of building surveying services across commercial and education sector projects
Supporting project work including refurbishments, maintenance and improvement schemes
Carrying out site inspections and surveys
Assisting with preparation of reports, specifications and schedules of work
Supporting contract administration and project delivery
Working alongside senior surveyors and directors on a range of technical surveying tasks
Job Requirements
BSc (or equivalent) in Building Surveying or a related discipline
Minimum 12 months' post-graduation experience within a Building Surveying role
Full UK driving licence
Based within commuting distance of Bristol
Strong communication and organisational skills
Keen to develop professionally and work towards MRICS chartership
Motivated, proactive and looking for a long-term career within Building Surveying
Salary & Benefits
£28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

24 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service)
