Location: Basildon
Shift pattern: 10:30am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday
Salary: Up to £45,000 DOE
A growing fresh food manufacturer is looking for an experienced Production Manager to lead operations in a fast-paced environment focused on delivering nutritious, high-quality food for children.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader with a continuous improvement mindset who enjoys developing teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.
The Role:
Lead and manage daily production operations
Ensure food safety, quality, and compliance standards are maintained
Drive operational KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage and develop production teams and shift leaders
Align production capacity with customer demand and ingredient supply
Promote a strong health & safety culture
About you:
5+ years' management experience in FMCG food manufacturing
Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety systems, and BRC standards
Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Experience with Excel and ERP/planning systems
HACCP / Food Safety certification
