The Role
You will support the Senior QS / Commercial Manager in the commercial delivery of residential housing schemes, managing costs from procurement through to final account.
Responsibilities:
* Subcontractor procurement and tender analysis
* Placing orders and subcontract administration
* Valuations and payment certificates
* Cost reporting and CVRs
* Variations and cost control
* Assisting with final accounts
* Working closely with site and technical teams
Requirements:
Assistant QS:
* 1–3 years’ experience in residential or main contracting
* Degree qualified or working towards
* Strong numerical and commercial awareness
Intermediate QS:
* 3–6+ years’ experience, ideally within residential development
* Experience running packages independently
* Strong cost reporting and subcontract management ability
