Due to recent company growth, a UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy is recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team. You will be covering sites across the Home Counties and East Anglia, undertaking full management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys. Applicants must have strong industry experience and knowledge and will be comfortable providing tailored technical advice to clients. You will be joining a rapidly growing outfit, who have a strong reputation within the industry. Our client is offering competitive salaries and benefits packages to the successful candidate.
Locations of work include: Bedford, St Neots, Cambridge, Sandy, Biggleswade, Newmarket, Ely, March, Wisbech, King’s Lynn, Swaffham, Peterborough, Spalding, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Aylesbury, Bletchley, Oxford, Brackley, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, Bury St Edmunds, Thetford, Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, Bishop’s Stortford.
Experience / Qualifications:
* Strong track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor
* Will have experience of working to UKAS and HSG 264 guidelines
* Qualified with the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
* Experience working across a range of premises
* Good literacy and numeracy skill level
* Comfortable using IT software
* Strong communication skills
The Role:
* Undertaking management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys
* Carrying out re-inspection surveys
* Collecting ACM samples from site for analysis
* Producing detailed technical reports with accompanying floorplans
* Contacting clients to provide tailored technical reports
* Wearing correct PPE at all times
* Adhering to agreed project deadlines
* Supporting the training of new surveyors
