Our client is a medium-sized Asbestos consultancy, who have a strong presence in the Central Belt of Scotland. They are recruiting for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor, to undertake thorough Asbestos Surveys across a range of commercial, local authority and domestic premises. It is essential that candidates have a proven track record within the industry, and must hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent. Experience / Qualifications:
* Will hold the BOHS P402 or RSPH equivalent
* Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor, within a UKAS accredited company
* Excellent working knowledge of UKAS and HSG 264 compliance standards
* Professional manner
* Flexible to travel in line with company needs
* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
The Role:
* Undertaking management, refurbishment, demolition and re-inspection asbestos surveys
* Working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, local authority and domestic premises
* Safely collecting samples from site for analysis
* Producing site-specific asbestos survey reports
* Meeting with clients to provide advice on findings
* Working to set personal targets and project deadlines
* Representing the company in a professional manner
* Ensuring to adhere to safety guidelines
