We are recruiting for a Fabricator / Welder to work for our client who are located in York.
THE DUTIES:
* Welding and fabricating components for heavy machinery
* Mig Welding
* General workshop duties
* Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate welding methods and techniques Inspect welded joints and completed work to ensure quality compliance and structural integrity
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with all health and safety protocols
* Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals, schedules, and deadlines
* Assist with troubleshooting welding processes, techniques, and equipment issues as required
* Operate power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:
* Minimum 2 years' experience working within a Welding role
* Excellent attention to detail with a quality-focused approach
* Mechanical knowledge
THE HOURS:
Days : Monday – Thursday 7am – 3.30pm (12-minute unpaid break 10am & 30 Mins unpaid lunch at 1:30pm).
Friday 6am -2:30pm (12-minute unpaid break at 10am).
THE PAY:
You will earn an hourly rate of £16-16.75
