The Role
The company is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join its day shift team. This position is ideal for a time served machinist who takes pride in producing high‑quality components and is confident working independently.
Duties include:
* Setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls
* Producing components to drawing and specification to a high standard
* Editing existing programmes when required
* Contributing to continuous improvement of processes
* Safe use of overhead cranes
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
* Working day shifts
The ideal candidate:
* Apprentice‑trained / time‑served CNC machinist
* Strong understanding of engineering standards and Health & Safety
* Ability to work unsupervised and take responsibility for own output
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Reliable, conscientious and proactive approach
* Willingness to work overtime when required
The package:
* Hourly rate of £31,000 - £32,000
