This role is ideal for an engineer with strong knowledge of domestic and commercial plumbing ad heating systems, ideally with experience across Natural Gas, LPG and Oil-fired systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Planned and reactive maintenance of commercial and domestic heating and hot water systems
* Servicing boilers and package burners
* Testing and purging gas installation pipework
* Working on associated plantroom equipment (pumps, valves, fans)
* Domestic and commercial boiler and plant room installations
* Installation using soldered, press-fit and screwed steel pipework
* Basic electrical wiring and fault finding
* Occasional plumbing, ventilation and general plantroom maintenance
Essential Requirements
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Enhanced DBS check
* Gas qualifications including:
* Domestic: CCN1, CENWAT, CKHB1, DAH1, HTR1
* Commercial: COCDN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, ICPN1, HTR1, TPCP1
* LPG Changeover: CONGLP1PD
* Willing to travel as required
* Willing to stay away overnight when required (with notice)
Desirable
* City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing
* Unvented Hot Water Systems (G3)
* Industrial gas, oil or advanced plumbing experience
* UKATA asbestos awareness
* PASMA and IPAF certifications
