Salary: up to £40,000 - £45000 DOE per annum.
Our well established client is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client has multiple clinic locations as well as satellite clinics in several schools. This role is to deliver occupational therapy to children from 0-19 years old with a variety of difficulties.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Identifying the set of activities and motivations that might help patients work towards their goals.
Helping children with disabilities perform different activities such as dressing, eating and walking.
Educating the patients’ families and friends about the right way to accommodate and care for them.
Recommending special equipment and, as well as instructing patients on how to use the equipment.
Documenting and assessing the patient’s activities and progress, as well as creating review reports.
Seeing up to 6 children a day (45mins sessions).Qualifications and skills:
HCPC Registered.
Paediatric Occupational Therapist experience (minimum 4 years preferred)
Experience in using a Sensory Integration treatment approach
Excellent communication skills
