The Production Engineer is responsible for optimising manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to improve quality, efficiency, and cost. The role supports continuous improvement initiatives and new product introduction, working closely with operations, R&D, and production teams.
Key responsibilities
* Improving manufacturing processes
* Analysing production data to resolve issues
* Specifying and maintaining production equipment
* Supporting ERP systems
* Providing technical support and training to production staff.
Skills Required
* Engineering or technical degree or equivalent.
* Minimum of 3 years industry experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of Manufacturing / Engineering processes, tools and techniques.
* Experience in an assembly, sheet metal and machining environment.
Package & Benefits
Salary - £35,000-£40,000 Plus 5% profit related bonus
37 hours per week - 9:30 – 4:00 Monday to Thursday and 9:30 – 12:00 on a Friday
