How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    EXTERNAL SALES COORDINATOR

    UK based global manufacturer of bespoke solutions in the scientific sector are seeking an External Sales Coordinator to join their team.

    The Role:

    You will be covering customers in the Australasia, South Africa and New Zealand territory, with regular travel for up to 4/5 weeks at a time every 3/4 months. No cold calling. 99/100 times you will be passed warm leads by the sales department. Main focus will be speaking to the clients to aid their requirements, look at machines, consult them and give them the best possible solution.

    Responsibilities:

    * Selling

    * Quoting

    * Booking orders

    * Forecasting

    * Market Development

    * Agent/distributor development and appointment

    * Reporting

    * Supporting after-market sales growth and department

    * Communicate with many internal departments like production, engineering, shipping & accounts to ensure smooth running of projects.

    * Become an expert on the world leading processing machines and services

    The successful Internal Sales Coordinator will have:

    * 1-3 years experience in a technical sales role

    * Degree qualified - Business or Engineering

    * Excellent written and verbal business communication skills with attention to detail.

    * Ability to work as an individual as well as a team player with good interpersonal skills and customer focus.

    * A good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products

    * A good understanding and working knowledge of CRM & ERP software.

    * Any additional language would be very useful.
